Tbh that's a question I struggle with answering. I've done my best to make the comics as standalone as I can, to let you start anywhere! ....except for Darkness Falls, that one probably requires reading Random Encounter. Really, DHSComix is just a series of comics me and my friends made based in the same world, the world of LaRaGa! A world of magic and gods, and sometimes I sneak in a little sci fi because hey, multidimensions are fun. Sometimes they're serious, sometimes they're silly, sometimes they're short, sometimes they're long... we're just having fun. I've got all of them arranged below in order of publishing! But here's a few random suggestions:

My "main" comic, the one I've been working on the longest! The story of the re-opening of Dhark's Hero School after 200 years of closure, and the misadventures of its students and staff. It can be read here

Dark Powers serve the Moon Goddess, and Light Powers serve the Sun Goddess. They are blessed with powerful magic but must spend their lives fighting each other. One Dark Power tries to find a way to stop fighting... after he catches feelings for a Light Power. This comic can be read here

Travellers in a merchant's wagon tell what they call the "true" story of The Breaking; the event that split the old world into the world that exists now. They have a rather different take on it than the accepted tales... who are these weird people anyway? It can be read here.
The wagon sections take place around the same time as Random Encounter, but The Breaking itself takes place roughly 1500 years earlier

Starts with Jake dying and then monologuing his life... so it's a bit unclear when this one takes place. But the story Jake is telling takes place roughly 2,000 years before Random Encounter.

Col Skinchanger, who swears he is not a shapeshifter (but clearly is), decides to take up work as a reporter for a rag called "Mysteries of the Obscured", that as far as anybody can tell just prints made-up nonsense.
